He stood first in many exams throughout his studies. He has done many research works and published papers for example in filarial leg, in hepatitis virus, etc. He has presented many papers in many state and national level conferences. He has also done randomized study in Helicobacter Pylori infection.
He has performed many complicated and challenging operations which were published in media many times. He has established Neonatal surgery ward in Government Head Quarters Hospital in Erode years ago. He operates full-fledged intensive care unit especially for babies. He is one of the very few laparoscopic surgeons in the country who laparoscopy in children.
He has done service in various Government Hospital and PHCs in and around Erode District from 1987 to 1996. He has started a new neonatal surgery ward at Government Hospital at Erode.
